This Privacy Policy describes how Pixoro Apps ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the mobile application Knowly: Trivia Quiz (the "App"). By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1. Information collected automatically

When you use the App, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

• Device information: device model, manufacturer, operating system and version, system language, country/region, screen resolution, time zone.
• Advertising identifier (AAID): your Google Advertising ID, used by advertising and analytics SDKs to deliver and measure ads. You can reset or opt out at any time in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
• App usage data: sessions, screens viewed, features used, buttons tapped, in-app events (e.g., questions answered, levels completed), session duration, in-app purchase events (non-financial metadata only).
• Diagnostic data: crash logs, stack traces, performance metrics, error messages, and the state of the App at the moment of a crash.
• Approximate location: coarse, IP-based country/region inferred by analytics and ad services (we do not collect GPS location).
• Network information: IP address and connection type (used by third-party SDKs).

1.2. Anonymous account identifier

The App uses Firebase Authentication to create an anonymous account for each installation. This is a randomly generated identifier assigned by Firebase and is not linked to your name, email, phone number, or any personal profile. It is used solely to sync your in-app progress (such as unlocked content, in-app purchase entitlements, and diamond balance) across sessions and, where applicable, between your devices.

1.3. In-app purchases

The App offers in-app purchases (such as diamonds and other virtual items). All payments are processed securely by Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store your payment method, card number, or billing address. We only receive a non-financial purchase confirmation (transaction ID, product ID, purchase status) to grant you the purchased items.

1.4. Information we do NOT collect

We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, microphone input, camera input, precise (GPS) location, health data, or files on your device.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

• Provide and operate the App and its core features;
• Sync your progress and in-app purchases across sessions and devices;
• Detect, diagnose, and fix bugs, crashes, and performance issues;
• Analyze aggregated usage trends to improve gameplay, content, and user experience;
• Serve, personalize, and measure advertising (through Google AdMob);
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our terms;
• Comply with applicable legal obligations.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (EEA / UK users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR / UK GDPR:

• Performance of a contract – to provide the App's features, process in-app purchases, and sync progress.
• Legitimate interests – to secure the App, diagnose errors, and analyze aggregated usage.
• Consent – for personalized advertising and analytics that rely on non-essential identifiers, where required by law. You can withdraw your consent at any time (see Section 7).
• Legal obligation – where processing is required to comply with applicable laws.

4. Advertising

The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may use the advertising identifier and other device signals to serve, personalize, and measure ads.

Depending on your region, we will request your consent before showing personalized ads:

• EEA, UK, and Switzerland users: on first launch, a consent dialog (Google's User Messaging Platform) will ask you to accept or reject personalized ads, in line with the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF v2).
• If you do not consent, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized.
• You can change your choice at any time from the App's settings screen.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, which may process limited data on our behalf. Their own privacy policies govern how they handle that data:

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data only with:

• The service providers listed in Section 5, acting as processors or, where applicable, independent controllers (e.g., Google for ad delivery);
• Law enforcement or other authorities, if we are legally required to do so, or to protect our rights, safety, or property, or those of our users;
• A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy.

7. Your Rights

7.1. Rights for EEA / UK / Swiss users (GDPR)

You have the right to:

• access the personal data we process about you;
• request correction of inaccurate data;
• request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten");
• restrict or object to certain processing;
• data portability;
• withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent;
• lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7.2. Rights for California users (CCPA / CPRA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate data, to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information in the traditional sense, but use of advertising identifiers for personalized ads may qualify as "sharing" under the CPRA; you can opt out using the in-app ad consent settings.

7.3. How to exercise your rights

To exercise any of these rights, email us at pixoro.apps@gmail.com with the subject line "Privacy Request". Because the App uses an anonymous identifier, we may ask you to provide the anonymous user ID shown in the App's settings screen to locate your data. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (typically within 30 days).

8. Data Deletion

You can request deletion of data associated with your installation at any time by:

• Emailing pixoro.apps@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my data" and the anonymous user ID from the App; or
• Uninstalling the App, which removes the local anonymous account and all locally stored data from your device.

Once we verify a deletion request, we will delete data associated with that identifier within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records (e.g., purchase receipts for tax compliance).

9. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as necessary to provide the App and for the purposes described in this policy:

• Anonymous account & progress data: as long as the installation is active, or until you request deletion.
• Analytics data: retained by Firebase Analytics for up to 14 months, or as configured in our analytics settings.
• Crash reports: retained by Firebase Crashlytics for up to 90 days.
• Purchase records: retained as long as required by applicable tax and consumer-protection laws.

10. International Data Transfers

Our service providers (including Google and Firebase) may process your data on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States. Where such transfers are subject to the GDPR, they are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

11. Data Security

We and our service providers take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including transport encryption (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls on backend services. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions where that is the applicable minimum age, such as parts of the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with information, please contact us at pixoro.apps@gmail.com and we will promptly delete it.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, where appropriate, provide a more prominent notice (for example, via an in-app message on next launch). Your continued use of the App after the update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
